Delhaize Belgium is partnering with Belgian start-up Enersee to implement its cutting-edge energy-efficiency software across its network of 700 stores, aiming to eliminate energy waste and significantly reduce carbon emissions.
A key priority for Delhaize is to minimize energy waste and CO2 emissions across all stores. In addition, the company is preparing its locations and franchises for the upcoming EPC NR certification requirements.
Acting like a Virtual Energy Manager 24/7, Enersee’s software uses advanced artificial intelligence to continuously uncover hidden energy waste in buildings. It identifies and prioritizes inefficiencies in installations like fridges and ventilation, while providing near realtime updates on the progress of efficiency projects such as retrofitting, all this while maintaining a bird’s-eye view on the building portfolio’s sustainability targets. This enables Delhaize to track cost savings and emission reduction goals across all locations.
